Who am I?
I am a genderqueer student and documentary filmmaker. I have made a couple short films about community organizing and political radicalism. I am pursuing a degree in Media Studies and American Studies with a thesis centering around how media can be used in the context of community organizing. I began this project as a way of negotiating my own relationship to the transgender community, and I am continuing it because I love learning about the history of my community. This project has been the most rewarding media project I have launched, and I look forward to the ongoing conversation about where we came from and where we are going.
